O'Quinn shined for the Gulls in his second collegiate invitational, shooting +2 (77-69, 146) to finish fifth overall on the weekend. He was the top overall finisher in the conference (five other teams) and the second-best freshmen among the 112-player field. The freshman carded a -3 round (69) on day two, the best of any golfer throughout the two-day invite. O'Quinn registered six birdies and eight pars in his day two -3 round. As a team, the Gulls ranked third overall behind Tufts and Amherst. The Gulls bested conference foes Roger Williams (6th, 607), Western New England (13th, 625), Suffolk (13th, 625), Nichols (15th, 631), and UNE (18th, 646).
