BEVERLY, Mass. – On Tuesday, the Commonwealth Coast Conference announced its Student-Athletes of the Week in men’s and women’s ice hockey and women’s volleyball for October 23-29.

Men’s Ice Hockey
Player of the Week: Devin Lowe, Suffolk University | Graduate | Owings Mills, Md.
- in 1-1 week, totaled five points on two goals and three assists
- tied career-high three points in 7-5 win over Salem State
- seven goals scored vs. the Vikings are the most for Suffolk since potting eight in a win over Castleton (Jan. 11, 2020)
- on a three-game point streak that dates back to Feb. 18, 2023 (three goals and three assists)

Goalie of the Week: Cayden Bailey, Salve Regina University | Junior | Estero, Fla.
- earned two wins to open the season against Arcadia University (6-1) and Buffalo State University (7-2)
- made 57 saves between the two games and posted a save percentage of .950

Rookie of the Week: Joe O’Brien, Suffolk University | Freshman | Wakefield, Mass.
- in 1-1 week, totaled six points on one goal and five assists
- Rams fell to Albertus Magnus, 6-2, and defeated Salem State, 7-5; scored first career goal vs. Vikings
- seven goals scored vs. the Vikings are the most for Suffolk since potting eight in a win over Castleton (Jan. 11, 2020)

Women’s Ice Hockey
Player of the Week: Grayson Goolgasian, Curry College | Junior | Johnston, R.I.
- netted team's first two goals in a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Johnson & Wales

Goalie of the Week: Casey Moritz, Endicott College | Sophomore | Trophy Club, Texas
- compiled a 2-0-0 record, 0.00 GAA and 48 saves in a 2-0 week
- in her collegiate debut, stopped career-high 26 shots to help Endicott defeat No. 10 Norwich, 1-0, on the road
- followed up with a 22-save shutout effort at home against Southern Maine, 4-0

Rookie of the Week: Maggie Lynch, Endicott College | Freshman | Quincy, Mass.
- scored first career goal, and the eventual game-winner, in a 1-0 victory over No. 10 Norwich on the road

Women’s Volleyball
Player of the Week: Stephanie Moreau, Endicott College | Sophomore | Methuen, Mass.
- compiled 1.10 kills per set (11), a .556 hitting percentage and .80 blocks per set (eight block assists) in a 2-0 week which included CCC wins against UNE (3-2) and Suffolk (3-2)
- in five-set victory over UNE, stat line included seven kills (.700), five blocks (five block assists) and two service aces
- in another five-set win over Suffolk, recorded four kills (.375), three blocks and a service ace

Libero of the Week: Becca Mayer, Western New England | Senior | Berlin, Conn.
-1-1 week for WNE with a 3-0 loss at Wentworth and a 3-1 win vs. Gordon
- in two matches, totaled 13 assists and 24 digs
- vs. Wentwroth, recorded her 1,000th dig, just the seventh Golden Bear to do so

Co-Rookie of the Week: Marianna Hernandez, Roger Williams University | Freshman | Norwalk, Conn.
- 2-0 week with a 3-0 win over Curry and a 3-2 win over UNE
- vs. Curry, totaled 11 digs, three assists and a service ace

Co-Rookie of the Week: Emma Sanders, Wentworth Institute of Technology | Freshman | Mount Pleasant, S.C.
- two-sweep week with wins over WNE and Hartford
- vs. WNE, totaled 11 kills, .250 hitting and 10 digs
- in one set vs. Hartford, posted six kills, .462 hitting and four digs

The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), founded in 1984, is an NCAA Division III athletic conference composed of 10 full member and two associate member institutions throughout the New England region.
