Men's Hockey Preseason Poll Led by Endicott

BEVERLY, Mass. - The Conference of New England released their 2024 Men's Hockey Preseason Coaches' Poll on Tuesday afternoon. Leading the pack was the Endicott Gulls, who pulled in 61 total points and six of the eight first place votes.

Coming in behind the Gulls was Curry, who scored 54 points and one first place votes. Snagging the other first place vote was the University of New England, who finished just behind Curry with 53 points and final first place vote. 

Wentworth and Suffolk came in fourth and fifth in the poll, as the pair brought in 37 and 30 points. Rounding out the poll is Nichols (25), Johnson & Wales (16), and Western New England (10).

Originally founded in 1984 as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), and reconstituted as the Conference of New England (CNE) in 2024, the CNE is an NCAA Division III athletic conference composed of 10 full member and five associate member institutions throughout the New England region.
