The Conference of New England (CNE) and the NEWMAC have announced that Husson University and SUNY Maritime will represent the conferences in the newly-formed Fusion Bowl on Saturday, November 23.
The game will kick off at 1 p.m. from Reinhart Field at SUNY Maritime in Throggs Neck, NY, with streaming coverage provided by Northeast Sports Network.
Tickets for the Fusion Bowl will be available starting at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18th. Tickets must be purchased online, spectators are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance. Cash on site will not be accepted. Once available, tickets can be found in the Fusion Bowl Box Office. General admission is $10, children under 12 and students from the CNE and NEWMAC institutions with a valid institutional ID are free.

The Fusion Bowl features the next highest ranked team in each league that is not participating in the NCAA Tournament.
Husson enters the game with a 6-4 overall record, and a 3-2 record in league play. Their last victory came against Western New England University at home, a 49-42 triumph. The Eagles are led by quarterback Max Clark, who ranks among the top passers in the CNE in 2024.
SUNY Maritime comes into the weekend with a 7-3 overall record and 5-2 mark in the NEWMAC. Led by 28 throwing touchdowns from quarterback Steven Stassi, the Privateers had a five-game winning streak this season. Their last victory came in a 55-37 win over Coast Guard on the road.
