BEVERLY, Mass. – Putting up a successful 2024 campaign, the Endicott Gulls headlined the 2024 Conference of New England Field Hockey Postseason Awards, as announced by the league on Thursday afternoon. The Gulls took home five of the six major awards, while putting eight players on all-conference teams - including five on the first team.
Offensive Player of the Year - Tori Swanson, Endicott
A dynamic piece of the Gulls' offense, Swanson registered a point in every game she played in this year, and scored at least a goal in every game except one (Wellesley). She totaled seven multi-goal games, highlighted by a four goal performance against MIT.
Defensive Player of the Year - Maddy Young, Endicott
Young has started and played nearly every minute of every game for Endicott this season. She is crucial piece of the midfield, and has proven to be valuable defending the net as well. Young has 11 defensive saves - which is tops in the CNE for non-goalkeepers.
Goalie of the Year - Faith Minickene, Endicott
One of the top goaltedners in the country, Minickene ranks among the nation's best in NCAA DIII in Save Percentage. She has a 11-1 record in the regular season, with the one loss coming against nationally top-ranked Middlebury. In conference, she ranks first amongst all goalies in Goals Against Average and Save Percentage (.852).
Rookie of the Year - Riley Perkins, Endicott
The newcomer to the Endicott lineup this year, Perkins played nearly every minute for the Gulls', only giving up one start on Senior Day. She stepped up huge in big games, notably making a critical defensive save against RWU and coupling that with a penalty stroke in the same game.
Scholar Athlete of the Year - Zoey Wexler, WNE
Wexler is a Forensic Chemistry major and Mathematical Science Minor with a 3.964 GPA in the Arts & Sciences Honors Program. She was one of 16 students who received the prestigious WNE Skookum Award of Excellence awarded to students who display leadership, commitment, involvement, and dedicated service to the University. This award is given by the WNE Alumni Association after an interview process. Zoey is also the Division III National SAAC Primary Member representing the CNE. She has been named to the President's list in all of her semesters at WNE, the NFHCA and CNE All-Academic teams each year, as well as an NFHCA Scholar of Distinction for the past three years as well. She is also a member of the National Forensic Science Honor Society, a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society, and a member of the Pi Mu Epsilon National Match Honor Society.
Coach of the Year - Jodi Cipolla, Endicott
Cipolla led the Gulls to a perfect 5-0 mark in conference play, and totaled up 14 regular season wins with the Gulls. She has coached up eight all-conference selections this season, while also having her players represented in the four major on-field awards for the CNE.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE OF NEW ENGLAND
Originally founded in 1984 as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), and reconstituted as the Conference of New England (CNE) in 2024, the CNE is an NCAA Division III athletic conference composed of 10 full member and five associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition, and a meaningful student life. The Conference administers championships in 20 intercollegiate sports.
