Endicott, Roger Williams Top Women’s Lacrosse Preseason Poll

BEVERLY, Mass. – Based on a vote of league head coaches, Endicott College and Roger Williams University earned the most points in the 2024 women’s lacrosse preseason poll. Both programs received four first-place votes.

The Hawks of RWU are the defending Tournament Champions as they defeated the Gulls of Endicott, 12-9, on the road. Roger Williams advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament, besting Cabrini, 19-15, before falling to No. 7 Wesleyan, 19-6. The Hawks totaled 13 honorees on last season’s All-Conference Teams.

Led by seventh-year head coach Maureen Spellman, also a two-time CCC Coach of the Year, Endicott returns 2023 CCC Defensive Player of the Year in goalkeeper Lydia Akins and All-Conference honorees Mia Smith and Nora Staunton.

Western New England rounded out the top three. The Golden Bears return previous All-Conference selections in Mia Celentano and Ally Ferraro.

The rounds of the 2024 CCC Tournament will be held April 27, May 1 and May 4.
