D3HOOPS.COM PRESEASON ALL-AMERICA RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott men's basketball senior forward Elijah Kinney (Nashville, Tenn.) has been named a D3hoops.com Preseason All-American, the organization announced publicly on Wednesday afternoon.

With the announcement, Kinney becomes the second member in Endicott men's basketball program history to be named a Preseason All-America honoree.

The D3hoops.com Preseason All-America team is chosen from previous years' All-America and All-Region nominations.

Last season, Kinney was named as a National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-America Second Teamer, and a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Third Teamer.

Now a senior, the former All-American adds to his display of hardware heading into the 2026-27 campaign.

In 2025-26, Kinney was the second Gull ever to earn NABC All-America honors, and the first to be named as a member of the Second Team.

He averaged career-highs across the board, and was a two-way centerpiece for Coach Bettencourt's Sweet 16 squad.

Kinney posted averages of 20.7 points per game, 11.6 rebounds per game, 2.6 blocks per game, and 0.9 steals per game.

He amassed a total of 18 double-doubles over the course of the season, which ranked second nationally.

Meanwhile, his 11.6 rebounds per game ranked sixth in Division III, and his 2.6 blocks ranked 10th.
