Endicott Edges Nichols, 5-4, for 2023 Women’s Tennis Title

BEVERLY, Mass. –
On its home courts, the top-seeded Endicott women's tennis team claimed its fourth-straight Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament title on Tuesday.

With a 5-4 victory over second-seeded Nichols, the Gulls earned the league’s automatic qualifier into the 2024 NCAA Division III Women’s Tennis Championships in the spring.

In the nearly four-hour match, the Gulls took a 2-1 lead into singles play that saw two matches go to three sets and all six courts finish. The Bison won singles matches at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 6. Ashley Keaveney’s win at No. 4 clinched the title for Endicott.
