Endicott College and Wentworth Institute of Technology were selected as the top two teams in the 2024 Women’s Volleyball Preseason Coaches’ Poll, revealed by the league on Friday afternoon.
The Gulls and Leopards split the league’s 10 first place votes, each garnering five top votes apiece. However, Endicott prevailed for the top spot in total votes leading the way with 95. Wentworth, last season’s conference champions, finished with 93 total votes.
Western New England (66) and Suffolk (65) also finished close for third and fourth, while Gordon (61) rounded out the top five.
Roger Williams (46) and the University of New England (46) tied for a sixth place finish, while Hartford brought home eighth with 44 votes. Rounding out the poll was Nichols (23) and Curry (11).

Originally founded in 1984 as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), and reconstituted as the Conference of New England (CNE) in 2024, the CNE is an NCAA Division III athletic conference composed of 10 full member and five associate member institutions throughout the New England region.
