Roger Williams Headlines 2024 CNE Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches Poll

A flurry of teams, led by Roger Williams University, headline the 2024 Conference of New England Men’s Soccer Preseason Poll. The poll was announced by the league on Monday afternoon.
 
The Hawks led the pack, corralling 86 total points and two first-place votes for the top spot. Coming in just behind the Roger Williams was Suffolk, as they scored 82 points and a pair of first-place votes as well.
 
Western New England – last year’s top seed and conference champion – came in third with 78 total points but had the most first-place votes with four. The final two first-place votes went to the Endicott Gulls, as they came in fourth with 75 total points.
 
Gordon College (70 points) finished out the top half of the poll, before Curry (41) and Hartford (41) tied for sixth. Nichols (31) and Wentworth (31) tied for eighth before the University of New England (15) to round out the poll.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE OF NEW ENGLAND
Originally founded in 1984 as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), and reconstituted as the Conference of New England (CNE) in 2024, the CNE is an NCAA Division III athletic conference composed of 10 full member and five associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition and a meaningful student life. The Conference administers championships in 20 intercollegiate sports.
