BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott baseball team has been ranked a program-best No. 2 overall in the 2026 D3baseball.com Preseason Poll, the organization announced on Tuesday morning.
The announcement surpasses the previous best-ever starting position for the Gulls in a preseason poll by one spot (No. 3, 2025 preseason poll).
Additionally, the program received three first place votes, second-most behind UW-Whitewater, who had 18 votes (2025 national champions).
The Gulls enter 2026 after another historic season last spring. The Gulls posted a 45-6 overall record with a perfect 16-0 record in league play.
Endicott registered its second consecutive unbeaten season at home, extending the winning streak to 55 games.
Coach Haley's squad also appeared in its third consecutive College World Series, which is the longest active streak in Division III.
The Gulls reached the NCAA Semifinal round for the first time in program history, and became the second program to do so in Endicott Athletics varsity team history (men's ice hockey, 2023).
The Blue and Green returns much of its core from the 2025 team, headlined by D3baseball.com Preseason All-America First Teamer Evan Scully (Maynard, Mass.) and reigning All-Region II performers Cade Bernardo (Glenmont, N.Y.), AJ Hamm (Shrewsbury, Mass.), TJ Liponis (Scarborough, Maine), and Kyle Grabowski (Westfield, Mass.).
